Literally everywhere that bowfa is good except Shamans, you should be using crystal armour (+slayer helm if you're on task). Bandos, Zammy, Sara, CoX, ToB, Zulrah, Hydra. The armour doesn't use that many shards in general, and shards are fairly quick to get. It's similar or better than addy darts blowpipe on low def monsters, and bp wins with better darts. Bow is generally very strong against high def targets, but will lose to tbow if the target has very high magic. It's bis in a couple places like vespula and mystics, probably others too.
