For over 20 years i have used a Minolta x370 and almost ten years ago i got a Minolta x700 i keep them both in my bag with different films in each body. I never had any problems with them and really used the hell out of them. They have the Nicks on the body to prove it too.I think the X-370 feels cheap and chintzy, so it was the X-500 for me. That being said, all these similar Minolta SLRs offer a good balance of features for prices that are below what similar vintage Nikon, Canon, and Pentax cameras cost.
