Plus it's still using your full horizontal res, and is as close to 1920x1080 as you're going to get if playing on a non-native resolution.

I would start at 1600X1080 at first. Then work your way down to 1444X1080. Jumping straight to 1444 is too big of a change for most, which imo is the best stretched res. 1444x1080 for the dot crosshair. 1079x1080 for the best vertical pov (might get a little blurry) 1079x1080.The best resolution IMO is to run one where the vertical resolution matches your monitors native resolution. This will give you the most clear image despite being stretched.
