The only way to clear it is to bleed the front right brake line. After the bleeding, I can go from 5 to 20 miles w/o a problem. The fan switch is in the radiator, so it does not get hot enough to kick on when the thermostat is stuck shut. Given the age, I would suggest checking the coolant circulation after a new thermostat is installed.Posted April 4, 2019. Go through the gears and make sure they all work. Double check the fluids, look for welds on the frame for a wreck/repair. Make sure the underside of the plastics match color so you know none were replaced.
